Whether you’re a complete programming novice or an experienced developer, please join us and learn Ruby!
On May 21st we’re offering a workshop on the Pace University campus to introduce women to the wonderful world of Ruby and Rails development. Begun in San Francisco, the free workshops teach women to build a Ruby application according to standard industry practices. You’ll gain a great foundation in the only programming language ever designed to make programmers happy.
The workshop begins the evening of May 20th with a setup session for students. On May 21st the day begins with coffee and registration at 9:30, progresses into separate sessions for novices and experienced programmers, and is closed at 3:30 with a large group wrap-up session. We create a comfortable, empowering environment for students: it’s a collaborative process that works and we’re excited to host one in New York. We’ll be accepting 40 students – register today!
